Arrival by car
Coming from the Neckar upstream (Eberbach/ Hirschhorn/ Neckargemünd):
Follow the Uferstrasse to the right of the river (downstream), turn into Posseltstrasse and then drive straight ahead in the direction of Chirurgie into Jahnstrasse. Pass the barrier and drive past the surgical clinic in the direction of the medical clinic.
The Kidney Center is located on the left-hand side opposite the Medical Clinic or "Neue Heidelberger Chrirurgie".
Take bus no. 32 from Heidelberg main station in the direction of Neuenheimer Feld and get off at the Medizinische Klinik stop.
Arrival by car
Coming from the highway BAB 656:
From the BAB 656 (Heidelberg junction) turn left at the end of the highway, then turn right along the Neckar river into Vangerowstrasse. Please also follow the signs to the University Hospital.
Drive under the first bridge and then turn right. Follow the feeder road onto the Ernst Walz Bridge and cross the Neckar.
At the first set of traffic lights, turn left into Jahnstrasse following the signs for Chirurgie. Pass the barrier and drive past the Surgical Clinic in the direction of the Medical Clinic.
The Kidney Center is located on the left-hand side opposite the Medical Clinic.
Parking
Parking is available in the parking garage of the zoological garden - directly behind the barrier that borders the hospital campus.
