48TH NEPHROLOGY SEMINAR, HEIDELBERG

The symposium, founded in 1976 by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult E. Ritz, who died last year, takes place every spring in Heidelberg. The Nephrology Seminar is a comprehensive lecture event on issues and problems in nephrology. 
The aim of the event is to provide internists specializing in nephrology with an overview of the current state of knowledge on selected issues in theoretical and clinical nephrology. Over the past five decades, the event has become a fixed date in the nephrology network and has expanded beyond renal and hypertensive diseases to include intersections with neighbouring areas of medicine, such as cardiology, rheumatology and immunology.
The presentations deal with current topics from research and practice. You can find a thematic review of the wide range of topics here.
