The medical second opinion
Decision support, advice or review of findings
Before we make important decisions about our health and our future lives, many of us would like to get a second opinion from a doctor.
If you feel unsure about a treatment recommendation, it is understandable and also your right to seek additional information or confirmation elsewhere.
Sometimes a patient also has the feeling that a therapy is ineffective or difficult to tolerate because it is associated with severe side effects. Even then it makes sense to look into the matter again.
